Designed through extensive data logging, dyno testing and airflow optimisation, the Eventuri E46 M3 intake is not just a cone filter with a heat shield. Its patent-pending carbon fibre housing harnesses the Venturi effect to create an aerodynamically efficient, smooth and controlled airflow to the MAF. How it works
The Eventuri carbon housing encapsulates the high-flow filter and shapes the airflow into a controlled, high-velocity stream as it transitions into the CNC machined MAF tube. The carbon fibre air scoop clicks into the front right brake duct to saturate the intake mouth with cold ambient air while maintaining airflow for brake cooling. Three neoprene-lined aluminium heat shields isolate the intake from engine bay heat and block hot air from the radiator and block area. Together these parts keep intake air temperatures down and airflow smooth, unlocking power and response across the rev range.
Real-world results
Back-to-back testing shows gains through a large portion of the rev range, not just at the peak, which you feel as stronger part-throttle and full-throttle performance. While a remap is not required, further gains can be achieved when tuned after installation.
