Update on the V2 intake.

Update on the V2 intake.

We have been able to do a before and after to compare the stock intake to the V2 intake. There is an increase in power of the V2 at the top end of the rev range – where the stock intake struggles with the restriction at the lower end of the inlet pipe. Just changing the lower pipe should show gains.

At the midrange the power is almost identical to the standard intake, this shows that the aftermarket intake flows as much as the standard one if not better. The V2 had an 8 degree higher Air Intake temperature – which is to be expected especially on the dino. Yet the charge temp at the manifold was higher on the stock intake test (stock intake test was 2psi higher). If you have a stock inlet pipe I suggest you at least get yourself a turbo inlet, there is definitely some horse power being trapped by the stock lower inlet pipe and your turbo won't have to boost as much to make the power.

Not only is there power gains there is also the noise improvement, the turbo sound is much better. Great modification. Makes the noise more dramatic and feels like there is better throttle response.
