What Are BMW Double Slat Grilles?
BMW’s signature kidney grilles are one of the most recognizable design elements in the automotive world. The double slat design, originally featured on performance-focused M models, offers a sportier and more aggressive appearance compared to the traditional single slat configuration.
The BMW M3 / 3 Series E92/E93 Double Slat Black Grilles – BLAK by CT Carbon replace your factory chrome or aging grille set with a sleek all-black alternative. They maintain the original shape and fitment but introduce a bolder, more modern style that better complements today’s aesthetic preferences.
Why Upgrade to BLAK by CT Carbon Grilles?
Owners of the E92/E93 platform often look for ways to enhance the appearance of their vehicles without compromising quality. These grilles offer several practical and visual benefits that make them a popular choice.
- Aggressive, Modern Style: The all-black finish delivers a stealthy, performance-oriented look reminiscent of high-end M models.
- High-Quality ABS Construction: Built from premium automotive-grade ABS plastic, these grilles resist cracking, fading, and warping.
- Direct OEM Fit: Designed to match factory mounting points, ensuring a straightforward installation without modification.
- Enhanced Front-End Appearance: Replacing worn or dated chrome grilles dramatically improves your car’s overall presence.
- Perfect for Restorations or Upgrades: Ideal for refreshing the look of older models or completing a custom exterior theme.
How This Upgrade Enhances Your BMW
Even though a grille may seem like a small detail, it plays a major role in your BMW’s character. The BMW M3 / 3 Series E92/E93 Double Slat Black Grilles – BLAK by CT Carbon add definition and contrast to your front bumper, creating a unified and streamlined look.
Many E92 and E93 owners love how the blacked-out style pairs with other exterior upgrades such as carbon fiber splitters, black window trims, or smoked side markers. The result is a cohesive and aggressive theme that elevates the car’s presence on the road.
