How it works and available reading options
The kit installs where the factory fuel line enters the engine bay. Disconnect the stock line, plug in the kit and start reading your ethanol content. To return to stock, simply remove the kit and reconnect the original line.
Reading options when using this Fuel-It ethanol analyzer:
- Bluetooth only
- Bluetooth plus JB4 integrated 0-5 Volt output
- Bluetooth plus 50-150 Hz raw signal
Bluetooth functionality requires the purchase of the compatible smartphone app for iPhone or Android.
Note: To simplify installation, the standard Bluetooth analyzer version is supplied without additional JB4 wiring, allowing all plumbing and electrical connections to be made under the car. If you prefer the traditional analyzer with 0-5V output as well as Bluetooth, those connections are made in the engine bay and you must request the traditional analyzer at checkout. It will be included at no additional charge.
