The factory plastic charge pipe is notorious for cracking and blowing off under boost, especially on remapped Stage 1 and Stage 2 N55 cars. This MTC Motorsport alloy boost pipe eliminates that weak point, maintains consistent boost pressure and helps reduce lag for a faster, more responsive drive. Note: This kit is for LHD xDrive cars only and will not fit older N55 E chassis models. If you are unsure, contact us and we will confirm fitment.

This is a direct bolt-on upgrade. You can reuse the standard clip at both the throttle body and intercooler. If your OEM clip is missing because the stock plastic pipe has cracked or blown off, we can supply the replacement clip.
Important fitment notes
- Manual cars: the takeoff on the charge pipe is not required. You will need a bung to block it off. BMW bung part number: 7515387. Reference eBay item number: 265550921079.
- Not suitable for older N55 E chassis vehicles.
- If in doubt, email us a clear photo of your existing charge pipe on the right-hand side of the engine. There are around four different variations and we will confirm the correct kit.
