Real-world power expectations
F Series BMW N55 (2012+): on 93 octane or 99 RON pump fuel, typical results are 430 to 450 whp with an upgraded intercooler, downpipe, charge pipe and a high-quality custom tune. To support 450+ whp you will also need an upgraded high pressure fuel pump.
E Series BMW N55 (2011 to 2013): on 93 octane or 99 RON pump fuel, typical results are 430 to 480 whp with an upgraded intercooler, downpipe, charge pipe, LPFP and a custom tune.

This turbo is available for both wastegate variants. You must use the correct Genuine BMW Turbo Installation Kit for your car:
- Pneumatic Wastegate PWG - Genuine BMW Turbo Installation Kit required
- Electronic Wastegate EWG - Genuine BMW Turbo Installation Kit required

Core exchange and deposit
This item is supplied on an exchange basis. You will need to send in only your core turbo to be upgraded. Any additional parts sent with the core may not be returned. If you cannot send your stock turbo first, a refundable deposit can be paid so we can supply a pre-built unit:
- EWG deposit: £575
- PWG deposit: £375
Deposits are returned after inspection when your non-damaged core is received. Availability of spare units varies, so please contact us before ordering if you need a deposit option.
Installation and fitting
This is a direct-fit hybrid turbo that retains OEM housings for a straightforward install when paired with the correct BMW installation kit for PWG or EWG. For professional fitting, we recommend booking with Nforcd in Warwickshire. Request a fitting quote by emailing Sales@nforcd.com.
