Craftsmanship and engineering
Stone Exhaust engineers use 3D scanning and reverse engineering of OEM components to analyse pipe diameter, routing and bend angles. Computational simulations model gas flow, thermal behaviour and pressure zones, allowing progressive refinement until optimal results are achieved.
Manufactured with a 7 axis CNC bending machine for high precision. Stone achieves up to 98% roundness and limits outer bore wear to approximately 25% at 180 degrees, reducing airflow disruption and helping prevent weld stress. Combined with 3D scanning, reverse engineering and CNC bending, Stone creates an integrally moulded exhaust pipe with accuracy errors under 0.025 mm.
Crisscross and overlapping welding techniques are used at high heat areas to increase weld width and penetration, improving durability. Direct spot welding with mechanical arms further increases strength and consistency, resulting in a beautifully finished system that performs as good as it looks.
