Bespoke range manufacturing quality
Each disc in the Tarox Bespoke range is individually CNC machined from a solid steel billet, never cast. After machining, the billet is heat-treated and cooled to unify the structure for strength and durability. This delivers exceptional stability at high temperatures with massively reduced warping, cracking, fade and knock-off. Longevity of both disc and pad is significantly increased.
The discs are then grooved and or drilled as required and finished by hand. Each disc is manually ground to a tolerance approaching 0.015 mm to ensure they run true. For these two-piece discs, the billet rotor is mated to a CNC machined alloy bell that is hard anodised for protection. The Ultimate Tensile Strength is rated at 57 kg per square mm. For context, racing spec discs are usually 38 kg per square mm and the CEE standard UTS is 25 kg per square mm.
