Engineered for flow and reliability

Stone Exhaust uses 3D scanning and reverse engineering of OEM components to map the ideal pipe diameter, routing and bend angles for the BMW N20 and N26 platforms. Exhaust gas flow, thermal zones and pressure rise points are simulated and refined to achieve optimal performance.

The one piece CNC bent construction achieves outstanding roundness to minimise turbulence, while robotic welding ensures deep, clean welds without ash build-up inside the tube. Crisscross and overlapping welds at the turbo-to-downpipe flange increase penetration and durability in areas exposed to 800°C to 1100°C.
