Construction and performance
The MMR Competition Intercooler uses a high-quality Tube and Fin stepped core to provide low pressure drop and rapid heat exchange, helping the turbo work more efficiently and improving throttle response. Internal turbulators enhance cooling performance, while CFD-optimised end tanks maintain even airflow across the core. Compared with OE, you get a much larger and more efficient charge air cooler that keeps IATs stable during repeated pulls and extended hard use without adding lag.
MMR offers two intercooler options for N55 F2x and F3x cars. This Competition version prioritises the lowest possible pressure drop and lighter weight, making it the best choice for the highest performance applications. A Bar and Plate High Performance version is also available separately.
