Oversize inlets note
As part of the upgrade we provide larger turbo inlets. One turbo uses a CNC alloy billet inlet, the other uses a modified original plastic inlet. If you are upgrading your own turbochargers, you must send your plastic inlet with your turbos.
Upgrade your existing turbochargers
You can send your non-damaged S55 turbochargers to be upgraded to TTE740+ specification. The listed price covers the upgrade of non-damaged units. If your cores are damaged, there may be additional costs which we will confirm after inspection. All turbos are inspected prior to upgrade and you will receive an engineer’s report on completion.

Engineering and balancing
TTE places huge emphasis on precision balancing and quality control. Components are first balanced at low speed up to 2,800 RPM in multiple planes, then the assembled CHRA is VSR balanced in-house up to 250,000 RPM to achieve exceptional equilibrium and reliability. Each turbo is delivered with a serial-numbered balance test document.
