How Sprint Booster works
Modern BMWs use an electronic throttle. Sprint Booster optimises the pedal signal sent to the ECU, removing the delay that makes cars feel flat off the line and lazy between gears. The unit sits between the OEM pedal connector and the harness and can be fitted in minutes. No coding, no permanent changes.
Three driving modes with 18 steps of adjustment
- OFF mode: returns throttle to factory response
- SPORT mode: up to 30 percent increased responsiveness, 9 steps of fine adjustment
- RACE mode: up to 60 percent increased responsiveness, 9 steps of fine adjustment
Each step adjusts response in small increments so you can dial in the feel you want. Settings are stored in memory, and the compact selector can be mounted neatly on the dash with the supplied adhesive. You can even remove the switch and the unit will retain the last setting.
Extra functions for control and security
- Pedal Lock mode: disables acceleration at idle using a 3-digit PIN for theft deterrence
- Valet mode: limits acceleration by 55, 65 or 75 percent via PIN to reduce performance when required
