The GFB DV+ is designed to fix the weaknesses of the factory diverter valve found in many BMW, Fiat, Abarth, and Alfa Romeo turbocharged vehicles. While the OE solenoid performs well, the internal valve often leaks or fails under high boost. GFB replaces the internal plastic parts with durable anodized billet aluminum housing and a precision brass piston.
Benefits include improved throttle response, faster actuation, better boost-holding capability, and no compressor surge or flutter. Installation is simple, with no need to rewire or run vacuum lines like other aftermarket diverters.
Unlike other diverter valve kits that replace the entire system with slower pneumatic setups, the DV+ keeps what works and upgrades what doesn’t, delivering a high-performance solution that’s faster, easier to install, and more reliable long-term.
Most modern Euro cars use solenoid-controlled diverter valves. While fast, they suffer from weaknesses in both diaphragm-type and plastic piston-type versions.
