Can I tune my own car with bootmod3
Yes. Open your Stock Tune, Save As a new map and start tuning, or work with your preferred tuner through the bootmod3 Tuner Directory.
How does flashing work, do I need internet
bootmod3 is a cloud based platform. Maps are managed online for seamless updates and collaboration. Once a map version is downloaded you can flash without internet access.
Can I use bootmod3 on more than one car
The licence applies to one vehicle, one VIN. The OBD Agent hardware can be used on multiple cars, the licence cannot.
Can I resell or transfer my licence
Yes, bootmod3 allows licence transfer for the original buyer and order. Previously purchased OTS maps and custom tunes are not transferable. To transfer, contact support@protuningfreaks.com with your order number, existing VIN, new VIN and ensure the car is flashed back to Stock and DME re locked in the bootmod3 interface.
Do you have E85 or meth maps
E30 blend OTS maps are available. Full E85 maps are custom and can be arranged with a tuner from the directory.
How do I datalog
Use the bootmod3 mobile app with the in car agent while connected to the bootmod3 cloud.
Will this void my warranty
Any tuning or hardware modifications may impact manufacturer warranties. Dealer policies vary.
