Compared with EBC RP-1, RP-X delivers approximately 25 percent higher friction across its working range with a noticeably more positive initial bite. This makes RP-X an excellent choice for heavier cars, ABS-equipped track builds and drivers who prefer an assertive pedal. As with most full race compounds, expect increased pad dust and noise, plus higher disc wear than RP-1. In return you get exceptional on-track braking performance where it counts.
