Note: RP-X is a peak on-track performance pad. Expect higher brake dust and increased noise versus fast road compounds. Disc wear is comparable to many popular track and race pads, but greater than EBC RP-1. Compared to RP-1, RP-X provides around 25 percent higher friction and a more aggressive initial bite, which can suit heavier or under-servoed vehicles. Lighter cars, cars without ABS or those seeking a less aggressive response may prefer RP-1.
