In most vehicle applications, the rubber intake elbow found in the intake system is not designed for performance or modification. They were designed to get the job done but when you add a performance filter, intake or tune, the stock elbow will start to show it weakness. The stock rubber elbows disrupt air flow as it passes over the accordion sections causing unwanted turbulence and negating the effects of intake modifications.

With high quality 4 ply construction, the ECS intake boot is strong but flexible, ensuring a secure fit on an OEM or aftermarket intake system. A smooth interior ensures unimpeded airflow, while a smooth, unassuming exterior adds to any engine bay. Offers an improvement in throttle response, intake sound, and power output, especially when paired with a performance intake or drop-in air filter.

Reuses factory seals and includes new clamps so no extra parts or hardware are needed. For ease of installation, install factory hose clamps onto boot on the first rotation of the worm gear before boot is in place.
