Version guide – V1 vs V2
BMW updated the OEM intake tube after November 2018. Choose the correct version for your car and sensor type:
- V1 – for models built before November 2018 with a MAF airflow sensor in the inlet tube. Larger tube with up to 111 mm internal diameter at the filter end.
- V2 – for models built after November 2018 with a temperature sensor in the inlet tube. Large tube with 109 mm internal diameter at the filter end.
Not sure which you need? Check the sensor in your OEM inlet tube. If it is a MAF sensor choose V1. If it is a temperature sensor choose V2.
