Select the Tarox compound that suits your driving. All options are suitable as a direct performance upgrade for the BMW X1 front pads and are effective from cold, with increasing bite and temperature capability as you move up the range.

Strada - Fast Road

Ideal for daily driving and spirited fast road use. Works great from cold with immediate response and a higher coefficient of friction than OE for improved braking power, stronger pedal feel and longer service life.

  • Operating up to 600°C - optimum 150°C to 350°C
  • Coefficient of friction: Cold 0.37 - Hot 0.42
  • Best for: BMW X1 road use, fast road performance brake pads, everyday drivability

Corsa - Track Day and Fast Road

A superb all round pad. Primarily intended for track day use yet excellent for fast road on more powerful cars. Effective from cold with a high coefficient of friction for outstanding pedal feel and strong bite without being harsh on discs.

  • Operating up to 800°C - optimum 200°C to 600°C
  • Coefficient of friction: Cold 0.47 - Hot 0.49
  • Best for: BMW X1 track day pads, mixed road and track performance

Competizione - Race

Developed on the race track for uncompromised performance. Very high friction with excellent release characteristics for easy modulation, low compressibility for a hard, consistent pedal and superb thermal stability lap after lap.

  • Operating over 900°C - optimum 400°C to 800°C
  • Coefficient of friction: Cold 0.47 - Hot 0.53
  • Best for: BMW X1 race pads, maximum bite and consistency
