Fitment guidance

This adapter is designed for BMW engines equipped with oil filter housing part number 11428683206 or 11428642289 and is compatible with the following engines: N20, N26, N51, N52, N53, N54, N55 and S55.

You can keep the factory oil cooler and lines for a plug and play installation by adding the optional factory line adapter EBW-100-98, where applicable. For maximum performance, replace the factory cooler and lines with an external air to oil cooler and AN lines -10AN recommended.

Some BMW models use a water to oil heat exchanger. For these applications you must cap the coolant feed and return at the source and add an external air to oil cooler and lines OEM or aftermarket. The EBW-100 must always be used with an oil cooler. Do not cap the adapter’s oil ports.
