The JB4’s fully programmable CANbus control takes inputs such as pedal position, throttle angle, gear, RPM, fuel trims, AFR, ignition advance and knock, then intelligently adjusts performance mapping. Built-in safeguards keep boost low until oil and coolant are up to temperature and will switch to a low boost map if the engine overheats, runs lean, detects excessive knock or overboosts. Performance maps require 91 octane fuel or better.
