Important safety information
It is crucial to follow the instructions precisely. Always use the specified number of magnets. Do not reduce the number of magnets and do not split one set across two number plates. Driving places far greater loads on the mount than static use. Using fewer magnets than prescribed can lead to the number plate detaching during driving.
Each MagNFix set includes 20 magnets for one number plate: 10 fitted to the inside of the bumper and 10 to the back of the number plate. This paired configuration ensures a secure hold even at high speeds.
Installation overview
- Test-fit magnet positions inside the bumper and on the plate, ensuring mutual attraction
- Mark positions, then thoroughly degrease with the included alcohol swabs
- Attach 10 magnets to the plate on flat areas only - avoid embossing on aluminium plates and avoid rivets on 3D plates
- Press magnets down firmly, then apply the Velcro strip to the plate - an air cushion around magnets is normal
- Attach 10 magnets to the inside of the bumper, press down firmly
- Seal bumper-side magnets with the included film to protect from water and dirt - air bubbles are normal
