Installation notes
This kit is not plug and play. Some adjustments to the car are required to fit the larger oil cooler and bracketry. Additional OEM parts needed for installation are: oil cooler front air duct left, wheel arch air duct left, and the inside wheel arch for the auxiliary cooler left. Typical installation time is approximately 4 hours.
BMW 1M specific note: the 1M is equipped with an auxiliary water cooler on the left side where the second oil cooler must be installed. To fit the left cooler, the auxiliary water cooler must be removed and a larger radiator will probably need to be installed. Allow extra installation time for the 1M.
Best for warm climate and track use
The twin cooler setup is strongly recommended for cars used in very warm climates and cars that see regular track day use.
