How it works
Removal: Thread the tool onto the inlet of the fuel injector and use the slide hammer to tap the injector out cleanly and safely.
Seal replacement: Use needle nose pliers or long nose pliers to pinch and remove the old high pressure seal. Fit the new seal using the included expansion tool stored inside the tool shaft. Then:
- Insert the injector into die #1 and count to 10
- Insert the injector into die #2 and count to 20
- Insert the injector into die #3 and count to 30
Important: Install the injector within 30 seconds of removal from the third compression die, otherwise repeat the compression steps.
