This direct-fit replacement swaps out the factory plastic manifold and charge cooler on BMW M2, M3, M4, X3M and X4M models, adding top-mounted port injection provision and a significantly larger core for enhanced performance. Supplied by Nforcd in the UK, this is a proven upgrade and a favourite with our S58 customers.

Intercooler core sizing: OEM approx 4 x 9.25 x 5.5 inches for around 203.5 in³ versus BMS approx 5.25 x 10.5 x 6.5 inches for around 358.3 in³.

Optional port injection components

Flow-matched DW or IDX 42 mm port fuel injectors are available in sets of six and are compatible with Fuel-It!, Phoenix Racing and other port injection kits. Options include:

  • DW 550 cc: up to 750 whp
  • DW 750 cc: up to 850 whp
  • DW 950 cc: up to 950 whp
  • IDX 1050 cc: up to 1100 whp

For advanced control, the Fuel-It! CANfuel Sequential Port Fuel Injection Controller can allow the ECU to run up to 8 injectors sequentially and integrate ethanol content, low-pressure fuel and additional sensor inputs via CANbus. Available separately.
