Compatibility and notes
- CANbus ECA is compatible with JB4 and flash-only applications such as MHD, BM3 and EcuTek that read the standard 0xEC flex fuel CAN format.
- Manual transmission or BM3 flex fuel users must select the universal harness. All others can use the plug and play harness.
- Replacement fuel lines are available separately.
- Components can be purchased individually, but a working setup requires fuel lines, ethanol sensor and analyser.
Universal harness wiring guide
- Red (originally Red/Green): 12v switched power via fuse tap or posi-tap
- Ground: chassis ground
- Brown (originally Orange): CAN- (for front mount usually the factory yellow CANbus wire)
- Green (originally Red/Blue): CAN+ (for front mount usually the factory red CANbus wire)
- Blue: 5v legacy output for input into JB4
JB4 note: For the Supra JB4 platform, connect the white wire to position 4 on the JB4 25-pin harness. In the WMI setup page, enable bit 0.
