Fitment and compatibility
Engine: BMW S55 B30 in F80 M3, F82 F83 M4, F87 M2 Competition. To ensure correct fitment, we run a compatibility check prior to dispatch using your registration number (UK) or the last 7 of your VIN. Enter your car details at checkout.
Upgrade your existing turbos
You can choose to upgrade your existing non-damaged S55 turbos. The listed price covers the upgrade of a non-damaged unit. If your turbochargers are damaged, we will inspect and provide a quotation before proceeding.
Important: As part of the upgrade process we provide larger turbo inlets. One inlet is a CNC alloy billet part and the other uses a modified plastic original turbo feed. If upgrading your own turbochargers, you must send your plastic inlet with your turbos so it can be modified.
Balancing and quality
TTE places huge emphasis on precision balancing for performance, acoustics and longevity. Individual parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2,800 RPM in multiple planes, after which the assembled CHRA is VSR balanced at up to 250,000 RPM. Each turbo leaves with a serial-numbered balance test report, reflecting standards that exceed OEM.
