The formula behind the TTE600 starts with a much larger TTE billet compressor wheel. This new generation, thin-blade geometry is highly efficient and delivers exceptional flow for its size, with a wide, usable compressor map. TTE re-profiles and machines the compressor cover to optimised clearances, and enlarges and ports the intake for a smooth air path.
To drive the larger compressor, TTE machines and fits a far bigger curved clipped turbine and shaft into the original core. The high-flow 9 blade turbine lowers back pressure and exhaust gas temperatures versus stock, allowing safer higher boost levels. Carefully controlled clipping reduces blade area to increase gas flow, lowers EGT, and reduces rotational mass for improved response.
Wastegate durability is also addressed. TTE re-engineers the rattle-prone wastegate flapper and bushing for robust, trouble-free operation and consistent boost control.
Precision balanced for reliability
Every TTE unit is balanced to a standard far higher than OEM. Components are balanced at up to 2,800 RPM individually, then the assembled CHRA is VSR balanced in-house at up to 250,000 RPM across multiple planes. Each turbocharger ships with a serial-numbered balance test report for complete confidence.

Upgrade your existing turbos - Send us your non‑damaged N54 turbos. The listed price covers upgrading a non‑damaged set. If any damage is found, we will quote before proceeding. All turbos are inspected prior to the upgrade, and you will receive an engineer’s report after completion.
Cannot send yours first - Pay a £250 deposit and we can supply a set first, subject to availability. Your deposit is refunded after we receive and inspect your non‑damaged turbos. Please contact us to confirm availability.
New turbos - We can also supply brand new OE-based TTE600 units. TTE starts with brand new standard N54 turbochargers, then upgrades and optimises them to create the ultimate hybrids for the N54 platform.
