The subframe of your BMW is the most critical piece of the suspension. When it moves, so do all the other components attached to it, including control arms. This movement results in undesirable alignment changes, giving handling (and ride quality) a sloppy, unpredictable feel. Replacing the flimsy rubber bushings with Turner Motorsport solid bushings, will eliminate unwanted movement between the drivetrain and suspension.

The end result is improved driving feel and stability at the expensive of a slight increase in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). We have installed Turner solid subframe bushings on our own cars and love how planted the rear end feels while still remaining plenty comfortable for daily use.

Turner designed these for use in their SCCA SPEED World Challenge race cars, and have made their way into street, track, and all-out race cars around the world.
