Engineered for the S55: bigger, cooler, stronger
The 3.0 litre BMW S55B30 in the M2 Competition, M3 and M4 uses an indirect charge-air cooling circuit. This Wagner Tuning high performance chargecooler replaces the factory water-cooled intercooler with a larger, competition-grade Tube Fin core and CFD optimised cast aluminium end tanks. The result is excellent heat transfer with minimal back pressure, ideal for fast road, track days and high temperature conditions.

Stock intercooler core: 276 mm x 136 mm x 76 mm, volume 2.85 litres
Wagner Competition core: 287 mm x 185 mm x 115 mm, volume 6.10 litres
