Installation options
LSD Installation and Re-build, stock differential required You send us your complete differential casting. We rebuild it with the Wavetrac unit and return it to you.
Complete Rebuilt LSD, deposit required If you cannot send your differential first, choose this option and add the separate Wavetrac LSD Deposit to your cart. Your deposit is refunded after inspection when your non-damaged differential pumpkin is returned.
Important fitment note Many BMW F-series axles from 2007 onward use a friction-welded ring gear on an open differential. Converting to LSD requires precise machining to separate the ring gear. Our build process manages this correctly to minimise downtime and ensure OE-level tolerances are maintained.
Oil recommendation
You will need to specify oil. For this application we recommend Motul Competition 75W140.
