Each factory turbocharger is disassembled and fully inspected. The centre cartridge and compressor cover are precisely machined to accept Weistec's lightweight, 5 axis CNC billet impeller. Despite being substantially larger than stock, the impeller matches the factory cast wheel in weight, preserving response while supporting much greater flow. The compressor cover is modified externally to accommodate the larger wheel and the upgrade is then reassembled with new seals and bearings before being high-speed balanced. All OEM oil and coolant lines bolt straight up for a straightforward install and OEM reliability.
